Alpine Light

山野光影

Mountains at a distance. A person close enough to know.

Woman seated in grass looking upward, with green shrubs, layered mountains and broad clouds around her. — 01 / 04Between the ridgelines

Viewing notes

Let the mountain recede.

Clouds and ridgelines run through the opening frame. In the closer portraits the ridgeline softens, but the colours of the landscape stay behind the face.

Woman standing on a gravel path beside a lake, with a forested mountain rising behind her. — 03 / 04The lakeside path
